- Increase the price of the annual subscription less than 50 dollars or euros .
Note that for annual subscriptions , app developers can increase the price by more than 50% .
So if you have a $50 monthly subscription and it increases to $60, Apple will not notify you that the subscription increased , even though the increase is higher than the $5 that Apple allows. Now, if you have a $50 subscription and it goes up to $80, you’ll get a notification because the increase is over the 50% allowed.
Either way, Apple has left some things unclear . For example, what if a subscription increase is less than 50%, but is greater than $5? Everything indicates that the apps must comply with all the conditions to increase prices without notifying you, but will it really be like that?
