New day, new Samsung receiving One UI 5 . The speed at which Samsung is implementing Android 13 on its mobiles is something never seen before (outside of the Google Pixel). The South Korean company has updated many of its phones to the latest version of Android, including several mid-range ones.
The latest OTA they have launched is for their third-generation folding smartphones, which had already been testing beta versions. That’s right, Android 13 is now available for the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 and so you can download it with all its news.

After launching the update for its fourth-generation folding phones a few days ago, Samsung is now rolling out Android 13 to its 2021 foldables . We know this thanks to the Samsung community forums, in which several users have reported the availability of the OTA.
Android 13 stable comes to the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 via firmware DVK3, which applies to global versions of these devices . At the time of writing, the One UI 5 stable OTA was only available to users of Samsung’s Beta program. However, the global launch will take place in the next few days.
As you would expect, this update includes all the features of other OTA packages that Samsung has recently released: new Android version (Android 13) , new customization layer version (One UI 5), and November 2022 security patch.
What improvements can you expect with this update? Better performance and fluidity , an interface more in line with Google’s Material You design, stackable widgets and folders, new Bixby modes and ruins, etc.

Once the update to One UI 5 (Android 13) is available to everyone, you should receive a notification on your mobile . This will tell you that the OTA is available to download and install, so you just have to allow it to have it.
The other method will not get you ahead of the deployment queue, but will allow you to manually check if the update is already available. You just have to go to Settings> Software update to see if you are in the download queue.
Remember the updates are distributed in stages . If you still do not receive the OTA, it is because you are in the deployment queue and you will have to wait a few days. Do not despair, your mobile will not be left without updating.
