The new version of Google’s operating system for large-screen devices has just arrived on one of Samsung’s best-selling tablets . That’s right, the Galaxy Tab S6 series is receiving Android 12L with One UI 4.1.1 officially and, moreover, this update does not come alone, since they will also receive a new security patch.

The sixth generation of Samsung tablets is made up of three models : the Galaxy Tab S6, Tab S6 5G and Tab S6 Lite. Well, these devices have just received One UI 4.1.1 based on Android 12L.
In the case of the Galaxy Tab S6, the firmware version that this system update brings is T865XXU5DVH2 for the European model and T865NKOU5DVH2 for the Korean model. For its part, the new firmware version to which the Galaxy Tab S6 5G must update to receive Android 12L is T866NKOU4DVH2 and P615XXU4EVI1 for the Lite model.
The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite is the only one that will receive a security patch this month , since Samsung guaranteed this type of quarterly updates on this model. Meanwhile, a new security patch will not arrive on the Galaxy Tab S6 and Tab S6 5G… Why? Well, because for these tablets the Korean brand only guaranteed two annual patches and they have already received the last one for 2022 in August.
It is worth mentioning that the first version of this tablet, the Galaxy Tab S6, came with Android 9 Pie out of the box and Android 12L will be its last system update. Instead, the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite and the Galaxy Tab S6 5G were launched on the market with Android 10 and, in theory, according to the support time guaranteed by the brand , they should receive the new Android 13 next year .
