5 things we already know about Android 13

android 13 novedades

There is still a long way to go for Android 13, dubbed Tiramisu, to officially reach Android phones . And there is still more for manufacturers to adapt it to their Android customization layers, which is already happening with Android 12.

And even though Android 12 is not even available on most mobiles in the world, we already know almost everything about the next big update. Of course, through leaks . Many of these news and changes are quite promising, do you want to know what they are?

5 news that will arrive with Android 13

1. Android 13 will allow you to change the language of each application

This is the latest Android 13 leak. With this function you can change the language of the applications separately , something that could be very useful for people who speak more than one language. Until now, third-party apps adapt to the language selected in the system.

In theory, this function would have an API capable of translating the content of an app , facilitating the work of developers, who would not have to include more language packs in their programs.

2. Grant permissions for notifications

Android has been polishing the options associated with app notifications, but this doesn’t seem to be enough. Currently, there are many applications and several of them show notifications every day, so much to the point of being annoying.

That is why Android has developed solutions such as organizing notifications by priority or allowing you to choose which apps should show notifications and which ones should not. But, as we mentioned at the beginning, this does not seem to be enough, that is why Google intends to include a quite “retro” function with Android 13.

In this version of the OS you will have to confirm that you want to receive notifications from the apps before they can do it automatically, just as it currently happens when an app wants to activate the mobile’s GPS or Bluetooth.

3. An ingenious way to improve the autonomy of mobile phones

Google has found an ingenious way to optimize the system to improve autonomy, through incentives. As of Android 13, the apps that better manage system resources will accumulate credits (so to speak) that can then be used to validate certain actions. It sounds absurd but it could work quite well.

4. Clock view on lock screen

A minor change that many users have asked for is the display of the clock on the lock screen. This appears in the center of the screen when there are no notifications but when it is filled with messages and other notifications, the clock scrolls to the top of the screen . With Android 13, the option is available to keep the clock by default at the top of the screen, despite not having the tray full of notifications.

5. Full support for Bluetooth LE Audio

We are talking about a new protocol for the transmission of audio with low energy consumption (Low Energy). This standard will improve the experience on devices such as earbuds. In Android 12 the API is already available but it will be in Android 13 when we already have full support to take full advantage of this new function.

Xiaomi Redmi POCO que recibirán MIUI 13

We do not want to be pessimistic but we must remind you that many times it depends on the manufacturers that you fully enjoy the changes that come with an Android update.

This does not always happen, however there is the possibility that, for example, layers as modified as MIUI leave out some native Android configurations. In some cases this happens because the manufacturer already includes similar options in its own layer.

Only the Google Pixel can offer you a pure Android experience , and the best thing is that you will be able to receive the updates first than the rest of the brands. If you’re concerned about keeping up with updates and having a “100% Android” experience, this is something you should know.
