For example, if we want to check our keyword rankings in the top 30 search engine results:

Click Tools->Options->General, and you will find the place to edit search result depth (check the following screenshot)

Then we select “30″ as the search depth, click “OK” to confirm your setting.

After that CuteRank will only search top 30 results on search engines to check your keyword rankings and the ranking chart will be little different, displaying only the trend line in top 30 rankings.

First let’s take a look what a note is:

Then you get my idea, besides rank and date, there is the note, you can write anything about it.

All you need to do is to right-click on a single node on the ranking chart then you will see an “Add Note” notice, click on the notice you’ll be able to edit the note.

After you have entered your note, click “Add” to add the note for the node. Node with a note and node without a note will be different in display. Those nodes with notes will be displayed as square nodes, and those nodes without notes will be displayed as round nodes. So you can easily distinguish nodes with notes with the nodes without notes then review your SEO efforts.

You can write a note for a certain node in the ranking chart describing what SEO techniques have been applied on that day for that keyword, like optimized title or optimized meta description etc. This will record what you have done for SEO and review it’s effect afterwards. Have a look at the following screenshot you’ll see what exactly I’m meaning.

Rightclick the CuteRank shortcut on the Desktop

Click on “Properties” in rightclick menu

Click “Open File Location”

Find the file named data.db and backup it to a desired location and you’ll never loose your profile and keywords data.

Step1, Enter your site URL
Step2, Click “Auto Detect Keywords”

Then we will enter the keywords wizard where we can view the keywords and edit them by checking or unchecking;

Where it’s ready, click OK and these keywords will be added for the profile.

In this release we added a table displaying all keyword rankings on selected search engines when clicking on the profile, Goolgle and Bing search API to avoild violating search terms. We also added some features that improve the usability, such as import keywords, auto detect keywords from meta, deleting multiple keywords at a time… Click here to read the entire release note.
