If you were using an older version of CuteRank Free Edition and have upgraded it to the new version, you may probably understand what I’m taking about right now. Yes, you history data are all gone, the sample database file will overwrite the existing database file if you install the new version in the exact same address you installed the old version. The sample data file is designed for the purpose of better demostrating CuteRank for the first-time users.

We apologize for the inconvenience it may cause, and it is always a good idea to backup you database file to another address before you install the new version. Then you can overwrite the sample data with you data after installation. Pro Edition should have no such issure because it contains no sample data. We’ll consider removing the sample data file if it is not neccessary.
